To ensure that the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and processes are aligned with the overall business strategy. The IT Manager is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation. By overseeing end-user support, infrastructure & security management, project coordination, vendor management, budget monitoring, stakeholder management, people management, and strategic planning, the IT Manager plays a vital role in enabling the organization to leverage technology effectively, enhance productivity, and maintain a secure and reliable IT environment.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Provide end-user computing support, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues and efficient service delivery.
  • Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity, including monitoring system performance, implementing security measures, and conducting regular vulnerability assessments.
  • Coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely and successful project deliverables while managing resources and budgets effectively.
  • Oversee vendor management, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to IT projects, service contracts, and vendor engagements.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Provide people management, including mentoring, coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap preparation, aligning IT initiatives with the organization's overall strategy and goals.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relevant certification (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP)
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese dialects is added advantage
  • Minimum 5-7 years of IT management experiences
  • Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and networking
  • Experience with project management and service delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team (direct/outsources staff)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices
  • Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or Jira.
