MEET JACKSON, MANAGER, KEY ACCOUNT (MOFT)

I joined Carlsberg Singapore in 2013 as a Sales Representative in supermarket outlets and have since progressed to become a Key Account Manager, leading strategic partnerships with key retailers. This journey has been deeply rewarding, filled with growth and invaluable learning experiences.

From day one, Carlsberg Singapore provided the tools and support I needed to grow — from personal coaching through real-world challenges to structured training that built both my technical and leadership capabilities. I’ve been empowered to take charge of my development, strengthening not only my sales acumen but also soft skills like communication, collaboration, and adaptability.

Working in such a dynamic, diverse environment has broadened my perspective and shaped my ability to thrive in any situation. The culture here encourages us to view challenges as opportunities, pushing boundaries with curiosity and a growth mindset.

Most importantly, Carlsberg has taught me the power of human connection — how to build meaningful relationships, understand our customers, and collaborate as one team. Today, I lead a team of my own, and I strive to pay it forward by guiding and supporting others, just as I was supported.

My journey at Carlsberg has been more than a career path — it’s been a transformation. And I’m excited for what’s still to come.

MEET VENUS, SENIOR MANAGER, BRAND MARKETING

Hello there! I’m Venus, and I’ve been part of the Carlsberg Singapore family since 2017.

Throughout my journey here, I’ve had the privilege of managing a diverse portfolio of brands—from Somersby, Connor’s Stout, Royal Stout, and Craft Beer, to now Carlsberg, SKOL, Wusu, and Tuborg. I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning and embracing new experiences, and I deeply appreciate the trust and support from both our management and internal teams along the way.

I started as an Assistant Brand Manager—someone who once teared up over failed packaging tests. I then grew into a Brand Manager who admittedly tended to overreact during crises. Today, I serve as a Senior Brand Manager, leading and nurturing a team that’s striving for outstanding results.

I’ve learned that a growth mindset isn’t something you gain from a single training session or a best-selling book. It takes time, effort, and a supportive environment to develop. One turning point for me was participating in the Grow to Lead program, which gave me the tools to understand myself better—my strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots—both professionally and personally. I’m incredibly grateful for the company’s continued recognition and investment in my development.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL GROWTH

MEET WOEI LUEN, MANAGER, KEY ACCOUNT (TOFT)

I joined Carlsberg Singapore in December 2019 as an Assistant Business Development Manager, focusing on driving our sales capabilities agenda. In recognition of my contributions, I was promoted to Sales Capabilities Manager in 2022—a role that allowed me to sharpen both my strategic thinking and commercial acumen.

In October 2023, I took on a new challenge as Key Account Manager, leading two major channels: TOFT and Duty Free. This marked a pivotal step in my career, enabling me to develop skills in people management, customer engagement, and stakeholder alignment, while also strengthening my decision-making and broadening my business perspective.

Most recently, in April 2025, my responsibilities expanded to include E-Commerce—an exciting opportunity to embrace digital acceleration and drive impactful growth in the online space.

I’m truly grateful to the Carlsberg Singapore Leadership Team for their continued trust and support throughout my journey. Each chapter has pushed me to grow, built my capabilities, and deepened my passion for delivering results in an ever-evolving commercial landscape.

DIGITALISATION & GROWTH

MEET EUNICE, EXECUTIVE, INVENTORY & SUPPLY PLANNING

I joined Carlsberg Singapore in 2021 as a Supply Chain Coordinator, supporting logistics and order management. Since then, I’ve progressed to Executive, Inventory & Supply—overseeing global inventories and supply planning. As I gained experience, my role evolved from maintaining operations to driving improvements, thanks to Carlsberg’s strong culture of innovation and efficiency.

Digitalisation has been a key enabler in this transformation, allowing for smarter, data-driven decisions. With the support of cross-functional collaboration, dedicated mentorship, and constant encouragement from my manager, I’ve led initiatives such as shifting from manual order entry to template-based uploads, and implementing paperless delivery applications—both of which significantly enhanced accuracy and efficiency.

Carlsberg has consistently pushed me to grow, including giving me the opportunity to present directly to the General Manager—an experience that stretched me beyond my comfort zone and built my confidence.

Being recognised as a Growth Mindset Hero reminded me that at Carlsberg, every idea counts. Change doesn’t need to come from the top—it starts with us.
